SRX2982248: Genome sequencing of Solenodon paradoxus woodi
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 71.5M spots, 14.4G bases, 8.9Gb downloads

Design: HiSeq Control Software v2.2.38 was used to generate raw images for system control and base calling through Real Time Analysis software v1.18.61.0. The base calls binary was converted into FASTQ with v1.8.4
Submitted by: University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus
Study: Solenodon paradoxus Genome sequencing and assembly
show Abstracthide Abstract
Five specimens of Solenodon paradoxus woodi were sequenced, and a genome assembly was performed. One specimen of Solenodon paradoxus paradoxus was sequenced as well. Based on this data, gene discovery and annotation was performed, the genome was mined for venomous genes, phylogeny was inferred, sequence variation in both subspecies was annotated, and demographic histories of the subspecies were inferred.
Sample: Solenodon paradoxus woodi, sample L
